Air Twists by Twists- British luxury at its very best

Posted on

In 1745 the air-twist glass was designed to produce a lighter glass due to an increase in tax of 1 penny per pound of the raw materials used to produce most glasses.

Made as they were in the 18th Century, but with a modern look, a marriage of style with tradition. Twists are recognised as making some of the finest air-twist, cotton-twist and colour twists for the past 20 years.

Twists have made glasses for Austin Productions, Hornblower, and Outlander, to name a few.

British luxury at its best, made in the UK by Mike and Sue Hunter of Twists Glass Studio, Scotland.
