Well, it’s been quite a while since I’ve posted on here, but just to note that we only have another year of trading before we both retire. The last year has been a bit uncertain mainly due to Trump and his unique way of trying to control the world.

We were supposed to visit the US for a convention, but with all that’s going on unfortunately we feel its a non-starter. A real shame as we would have loved to see all our friends one last time.

So I’ve turned my attention as to what we have to sell. Upon opening boxes, that have been in the attic for decades I was surprised to find a couple of early pieces I made while a bit-gatherer way back in the early 80’s. I’d not seen these pieces for many years and can only remember making the stiletto shoe vase.

Along with these two pieces there was many cut glasses from Wedgwood, and some I’d designed at the Welsh cristal factory back in the late 80’s (where I earnd the title Master glassmaker). Also 8 QE2 silver jubilee goblets also made at Wedgwood. I also have 6 jubilee decanters but not managed to get to them just yet.

So with Facebook being a real pain, (pay your full amount of tax to the UK you delinquents), which I won’t bother with again although Sue is still on that site, I’ll proceed to be more attentive to this one and let you all know what’s going on at Twists more regularly!
