Twists are finalists for International Award

Michael and Susan Hunter have been chosen as finalists for an international award.

Tableware International have just chosen their Awards of Excellence, the 17 categories in this international competition was open to designers and manufacturers of tableware. Altogether there were 274 entries with 148 tabletop brands from across the world and 28 international judges.

Mike said “we may be minnows compared to the giants of industry that have entered for these awards, but our design and quality of workmanship are second to none”.

Twists Glass Studio have been chosen as one the three finalists in the Artisanal category along with manufacturers Moser and Laguiole Synergie.

Mike and Sue chose their merletto range of Teardrop, Wedge and Lyra as their entry into this world international competition and fly out to Frankfurt’s Ambiente trade fair to see if they are winners in early Feb.

The finalists from all categories will feature in Tableware International Awards of Excellence supplement which will be sent out to 15,000 tabletop buyers across the globe.
